LOGAN, Utah – Boise State men's tennis fell 4-2 to Utah State on Saturday afternoon.

The No. 67 Aggies (15-5, 7-0 Mountain West) secured the outright regular-season championship with the win, while the No. 65 Broncos (19-8, 3-3) suffered their third conference loss.

Boise State opened play by claiming the doubles point. Carson Baker and Avery Tallakson earned a 6-4 victory over Xavier Calvelo and Jakub Medved on court one. After Utah State responded with a win on court three, Stewart Aronson and Filip Soderqvist clinched the point for the Broncos with a 6-4 decision against Jean-Baptiste Badon and Dmitri Goubin.

Utah State took control in singles play, winning three-straight matches on courts two, four and one to build a 3-1 advantage. Soderqvist kept Boise State within reach with a dominant 6-3, 6-1 win over Medved on court five. However, the Aggies secured the team victory by taking the final match on court three.
