Boise State’s Wyatt Morrison and Cade Hall Named PEC All-Americans, Cementing Legacy Season in 2026

Las Vegas may have been the moment Boise State lifted its first PEC Valorant national championship, but the story of this season was never just about one weekend. It was about the Broncos who made that run possible—and now, two of them are being recognized among the best in all of collegiate esports.

Wyatt Morrison and Cade Hall have been named 2026 Power Esports Conference All-Americans, an honor reserved for just two players per institution each year. It's not just a performance award. It's a statement about consistency, leadership, and the ability to represent a program at the highest level—both in-game and beyond it.

For Boise State, it's a reflection of a roster that didn't just win, but set a standard.

Wyatt Morrison: The Championship Anchor

Morrison

If Boise State's title run had a heartbeat, it often ran through Wyatt Morrison.

Competing under the tag Master, Morrison was one of the defining pieces of a Valorant roster that went 19-1 in PEC play and capped the season with a dominant 2-0 win over Ohio State on the championship stage. Not bad for a walk-on player from 2025 who's rise was featured in the docuseries Above the Line.  His All-American selection places him alongside the top tactical FPS talent in the country, a group that includes standout names from Kansas, Syracuse, Nebraska, and Ohio State.

But Morrison's impact goes beyond the stat sheet.
Morrison

He was part of a senior core that carried the weight of unfinished business into 2026. After falling short the year before, Boise State entered the season with one clear objective: Finish! Morrison delivered that through consistency, composure, and the kind of in-game presence that stabilizes a team when matches start to swing.

In a title run defined by core concepts of the Broncos proper preparation, commitment, and discipline, Morrison was often the player executing within it—clean, reliable, and unshaken under pressure. That's what separates a great player from an All-American.

Cade Hall: Precision and Presence in Rocket League

Hall

While Morrison helped lead Boise State to the top of Valorant, Cade Hall was making his own statement in Rocket League.

Known as WUZY, Hall earned his All-American nod as one of the premier Rocket League players in the country and the PEC, joining a class that includes top-tier talent from Baylor and Nebraska. In a game built on speed, mechanics, and split-second decision-making, Hall stood out for his ability to blend all three.

Rocket League success is rarely about one player—but every great team has someone who elevates the pace of play. Hall filled that role for Boise State. His mechanics created opportunities. His positioning created stability. And his ability to chirp and raise energy in the comms 2026 Power Esports Conference All-American Team

What makes Hall's recognition especially notable is the versatility it represents for Boise State as a program. The Broncos didn't just dominate one title in 2026—they produced elite-level competitors across multiple esports. Hall's All-American honor reinforces that Boise State isn't building success in silos. It's building it across the board.
