Broncos Close Out Home Slate with Sweep

BOISE, Idaho – The Boise State women's tennis team earned a sweep over New Mexico in its final home match of the 2026 season Sunday afternoon at the Boas Indoor Tennis Center.

In a match that lasted under two hours, the Broncos (17-3, 9-1 Mountain West) controlled play throughout. In doubles, Boise State dropped just four total games across its two wins. Tereza Polakova and Zdena Safarova won 6-1 on court one, while Carla Grignac and Lorelyz Marruffo added a 6-3 victory on court three.

Allison Isaacs earned the first singles point on court four, defeating the Lobos' (12-11, 3-7 MW) Maria Matsoukatidi 6-2, 6-2. Safarova followed minutes later with a 6-0, 6-3 win at the top spot, and freshman Grignac clinched the sweep with a 6-2, 6-4 victory on court six.
