RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif. – Boise State redshirt junior Leia Chung made history at Mission Hills Country Club, winning the individual title at the 2026 Mountain West Women's Golf Championship. After missing the entire 2024-25 season, Chung fired a 211 (-5) to become the second Bronco to win a conference crown and first to do so since 1993, when Shawna Seiber won the Big Sky title.

The Wahiawa, Hawaii, native carded the best conference championship score in program history while notching the lowest single-round score with her second-day mark of 68 (-4). She opened the tournament with a 69 (-3) and secured the title with a third-round 74 (+2). The Broncos compiled a team score of 902 (+38) to place seventh, with junior Teal Matsueda backing Chung with a 33rd-place finish (228, +12).
