LAS VEGAS – The No. 2-seeded Boise State women's tennis team was defeated 4-1 by No. 3 UNLV on Friday afternoon in the Credit Union 1 Mountain West Tournament semifinal.

After the Rebels (19-3) earned a doubles win on court two, the Broncos' (19-4) Tereza Polakova and Zdena Safarova responded with a 6-4 victory over Hudson Hawkins and Nikol Mircheva at No. 1.

Tied 5-5 on court three, UNLV's Kaho Oyama and Sofiia Sokolvak won the final two games to clinch the doubles point.

The Rebels opened singles play with victories on courts six and one before Masa Viriant put Boise State on the board with a 6-4, 6-4 win at No. 4.
