LOGAN, Utah – The Boise State women's tennis team claimed a share of the Mountain West Regular Season Championship with a 4-1 win over Utah State on Friday in Logan.

The title marks the first MW Regular Season Championship in program history and the program's first regular season conference title since 2011.

The Broncos (18-3, 10-1 MW) opened the match by earning a 6-1 doubles victory on court three, as Carla Grignac and Lorelyz Marruffo defeated Utah State's Maria Ramos Garcia and Chad Tourkhani. An Aggies' (11-10, 5-6 MW) win on court two pushed the deciding doubles match to the top spot, where Tereza Polakova and Zdena Safarova topped Natalie Paterova and Sabina Pintea, 6-4.

Holding a 1-0 lead, Allison Isaacs quickly extended the Broncos' advantage, earning her program-record 17th singles win of the season on court four. Utah State answered with a win at No. 3, but Safarova responded with a 6-2, 6-4 victory at the top position.

One point away from clinching, Polakova rallied from a first-set loss to secure Boise State's first MW regular season title with a 4-6, 6-0, 6-2 win on court two.
