Broncos Host Top Notch Talent at Boise State Beach Bash

WHAT'S NEXT:Â Boise State Beach Volleyball will conclude its home slate with a competitive weekend at the Boise State Beach Bash. The two-day event will begin on Friday, April 10 and will take place at the Boise State Beach Volleyball Complex.

WEEKEND SCHEDULE:Â The 19th-ranked Broncos (13-11) will once again compete in four duals over the weekend. Boise State will begin play at 1 p.m. MT on Friday against South Florida before concluding the day with a rematch against Florida International at 5 p.m. On Saturday, the Broncos will face off against No. 11 Grand Canyon at 12:30 p.m. before rounding out the weekend with a 4:30 p.m. contest against Washington.

GAMEDAY GUIDE: All Boise State Beach Volleyball events are free to the general public. Free parking is available at Lincoln Garage. Spectators are permitted to sit on any of the grass areas surrounding the sand. For more gameday information, click here. Â
FRIDAY'S SCOUTING REPORT: In its first year as a program, South Florida holds an impressive 18-6 mark on the season and is coming off a 3-1 mark at the Georgia State Diggin' Duals this past weekend. Boise State narrowly defeated Florida International in the season opener, with Ava Anderson and Addison Wolden winning in three sets from the top court to give the Blue and Orange the victory. Â
SATURDAY'S SCOUTING REPORT:Â No. 11 Grand Canyon is the second-highest ranked team to make its way to the Treasure Valley in program history. The Lopes hold a 14-10 mark on the season and have won four duals over ranked opponents. Washington is receiving votes in the national poll and comes to town with a 13-10 record on the year, including a pair of ranked victories.

WEEKEND RECAP:Â The Broncos extended their home-winning streak to 24 consecutive duals following an undefeated weekend at the Boise State Beach Classic. Boise State dropped only one point in wins over Oregon, Santa Clara, UTEP and CSUN. Their 24-dual winning streak is the fifth-longest active home winning streak in the nation.

BUILT FOR THE BIG 12:Â In its Big 12 debut, Boise State took down two ranked opponents on the same weekend for the first time in program history. The Broncos defeated No. 20 Arizona and No. 19 South Carolina at the regular season event.
NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED:Â The Broncos moved up one spot to No. 19 in the weekly AVCA Collegiate Beach Poll. The ranking marks the second consecutive week Boise State has been recognized in the poll, following its program debut in the rankings last week.
SENIOR DUAL:Â The program will recognize its eight seniors following the final home dual of the season against Washington on Saturday. Allyson Alden, Anderson, Anika Christensen, Makayla Dimond, Lily Patock, Serena van der Made, Abbie Wolf and Elli Wolthuis will all be honored for their contributions to the program.

MAKING HISTORY:Â Anderson and Wolden made program history by generating 35 career wins as a pair. The duo, who have been paired together since last season, passed Sharli O'Neil and Wolthuis (29) earlier in the season for the record. Â
BLOCK PARTY: Alden launched a 'Block Party' fundraiser on Feb. 11 for every ace and/or block the sixth-year senior records on the season. The campaign asks donors to pledge a certain dollar amount for every ace or block that Alden records during the 2026 campaign, with all donations going towards BroncoBOLD. So far this season, Alden has recorded 53 aces and 54 blocks. Those interested in joining can sign up here.
